The series featured a walk-off homerun by Eric Thames on Friday night, two homers for San Diego in the top of the 11th on Saturday, and a complete game by Jimmy Nelson on Sunday. St. Louis, M.O. ~   The Milwaukee Brewers are still in first lace in the N.L. Central after about 3 and a half months into the season and are now 2 1/2 games in front of the Chicago Cubs after taking to out of three games at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals. Milwaukee W.I. ~ The Milwaukee Brewers have swept the Cincinnati Reds. Led by first basemen Eric Thames the Brewers racked up a whopping 28 runs in just three games while limiting the Reds to only 13. Thames hit two homeruns in the series opener and another one in the second game, raising his MLB  leading homerun count to 11. On Monday, the opener, Matt Garza was on the mound for his first start of the season because of a groin injury.
