NOTABLE GAMES IN CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS.
D’Angelo Russell and the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers 73-78 in the Big Ten Tourney. D’Angelo Russell and Shannon Scott led the way for the Buckeyes, Russell scoring 23 points and Scott scoring 21.
The Indiana Hoosiers routed Northwestern 76-53 last night in the Big Ten Tournament. James Blackmon Jr. scored 25 points and Yogi Ferrell added 17 for the Hoosiers.
The Duke Blue devils will advance to the ACC Quarterfinals by beating N.C. State for the first time in two years. Quinn Cook scored 15 points and Marshall Plumlee added12, 4 on monster dunks. Duke never trailed the whole game.
The No. 11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish held off the Miami Hurricanes, 70-63, in a close game. Steve Vasturi helped the Irish survive a huge Hurricane run and he scored 16 points.
