Happ leading Wisconsin into Bahamas; Ready to Put together big season

The Bahamas ~ As the Wisconsin Badgers prepare to face off against the Stanford Cardinal in a semifinal of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament, they realize how special Ethan Happ is, and how crucial he is to his team.

Happ, the 6 foot 10 senior, is ranked right up there with the best big men in college basketball, and the way he moves around the paint to get hard earned buckets reminds many of the great NBA big men of the past. His dribbling, footwork, and shooting angles are all astonishing. And Happ’s ability to create commotion in the lane after picking up his dribble is among the best in basketball. Best said, Ethan Happ is extremely dangerous when he has the ball in the paint.

Happ, as usual, is putting up big numbers to start his season, as he is averaging 18 points per game, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists for the 3-0 Badgers.

In the three games he has played, he’s recorded a triple double, a 30-point game, and another 25-point game.  Happ’s 30 point game came in clutch against Xavier, a win that likely shot the Badgers into the top-25 for the first time since the end of the 2016-17 season. In the season opener against Coppin State, Happ put up a triple-double, with only 10 points. He grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished 11 assists in only 24 minutes in a rout.

As the conference season comes closer, the competition ramps up. They play the Stanford Cardinal today, in the first game of the Battle 4 Atlantis, and then will either play the Florida Gators or Oklahoma Sooners on Thanksgiving Day.

In the offseason, Happ worked out in the NBA Draft Combine Workouts, but decided to return for Wisconsin for his senior season rather than enter the Draft. As he realized he most likely wasn’t going in the first round, Happ thought that it would be beneficial to return to school and work on his jump shot and free throw percentage.

Happ also returned to wash out the sour taste in his mouth after a tough season. Now, the Badgers are ready to return to the Wisconsin Basketball consistency, and it starts with their 6’10 All- American, Ethan Happ,

This is really cool but it needs some news on the Milwaukee Bucks.
