Green Bay scored when James Starks fumbled inside the 6 and was recovered by Randall Cobb in the end zone for a touchdown. On the Lions next play from scrimmage Julius Peppers stripped the ball from Stafford and was recovered by rookie Jake Ryan. On third and goal at the 8 A. Rodgers found Davante Adams and Green Bay was only down by a score. The defense let the Lions score on a field goal on a series of mishaps including an offside penalty by Peppers. On the Packers next possession A. Rodgers scored a 16 yard touchdown to bring the game within two points.  With 3 minutes left, the Lions got the ball back and wasted clock. The Packers retained possession, needing to score with 23 seconds left. On their first play Rodgers threw an incomplete pass to Davante Adams to stop the clock at 16 seconds. Then Rodgers tried to find Jared Abbrederis but came up short stopping the clock with 6 seconds. Then Rodgers found James Jones and the laterals started and when the ball got to A. I was so excited that you got to watch the whole game, Jacob. Cause WHAT A GAME, but your article got my heart beating so fast again! Thanks for taking me through all that excitement (and I must mention the early disappointment that lead to the later excitement) again.

Thank you for for this detailed report of the god-sent Packer TD, the longest game-winning Hail Mary in NFL history. I got goose bumps reading it. The Packer-Lion game played on 12/3/15 proves that god exists and is rooting for the Green Bay Packers! I’ve also heard roomers that it could have been Saint Nick who choreographed the last play of the game, which would prove that the Green Bay Packers have been very good this year.

I think that just got the packers momentum going. Saint Nick sure did reward them with a game winning touchdown. Sure hope that God is on the packers side! It will get Green Bay a few more wins this year. Miss you
