Bama rolls on Bucky in Opener 35-17.

The Alabama Crimson Tide plowed through the Wisconsin Badgers, 35-17 in the Season Opener in Dallas, Texas.  Derrick Henry, The Tide’s running back, rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns in his first start of his college career. Also making his first start was Jacob Coker the quarterback.  Coker passed for 213 yards and a touchdown. He exited in the lateness of the third quarter when Alabama had a good lead, and Cooper Bateman took over.

Wisconsin play caller Joel Stave passed for 228 yards and two scores. In his 29th start he was 26 for 39.

Corey Clement the Badgers running back was stuffed at the line of scrimmage almost every attempt and had 16 yards on 8 carries. Clement is trying to keep the list of great Wisconsin running backs going with Montee Ball, James White, and Melvin Gordon.

the Badgers lost their top safety,  Michael Caputo in the first drive due to a head injury.

The Badgers lost big time, but will look to play Miami Ohio at home on Saturday.
