Madison~ The Wisconsin Badgers displayed their best basketball Thursday night against the Ohio State Buckeyes Thursday night at the Kohl Center. After picking up a victory over Illinois on Sunday night. Wisconsin took 27 three point shots during the game and they made 13. Bucky entered the game shooting 32.9 % from beyond the arc. The season high 13 three-pointers overcame a rough night at the free throw line as the Badgers went 10 for 17.

Nigel Hayes scored 21 points with 7 rebounds to go along with 3 assists. Hayes had a monstrous second half with 18 points.   Hayes only hit 2 of his 7 three-point attempts but he made four key free throws in the last 2 minutes.

A struggling Bronson Koenig who was only averaging 7.7 points in the last three games, hit 3 of 7 three-pointers and finished with 13 points.

Vitto Brown,who was added to the starting lineup Sunday at Illinois, scored 12 points while boarding 5 rebounds.

Ohio State freshman JaQuan Lyle recorded his first triple double of his career scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists.

the Wisconsin Badgers are filled with confidence and if they keep up this play they could find themselves in the NCAA Tournament.
