Badgers all over lowly Minnesota, 62-49

Minneapolis~ The Wisconsin Badgers displayed all of their talent on Wednesday night against the lowly Minnesota Golden Gophers, winning, 62-49. Wisconsin, 20-10, 12-5 Big Ten, has won 11 of their last 12 games and they don’t look like they’re going to let up going into the madness of March in college basketball. The Badgers are ranked second in the Big Ten and are unable to go to number one because Indiana clinched the Big Ten title over Iowa Tuesday night.

The game between Wisconsin, a program of consistency, and Minnesota, a program known for its inconsistency of recruiting and players getting in trouble with the law.  Three Minnesota starters were suspended on Tuesday for the remainder of the season. Kevin Dorsey, Nate Mason, and Dupree McBrayer.

As you could guess the consistent program obviously beat the inconsistent program easily.

The game was decided 13 minutes into the game when Wisconsin led by 19.

Wisconsin point guard Bronson Koenig scored 14 points while dishing out six assist’s . He scored 12 points in the first half and didn’t even attempt a single field goal in the second half. He led the Badgers in points.

Ethan Happ and Vitto Brown scored 12 points a piece.

Stephon Sharp led the Golden Gophers with 16 points.
