Image Source     The Milwaukee Brewers have won their second series of the year both to the Chicago Cubs.  Craig Counsell, the Brewers manager has led the team to a 4-3 record after Ron Roenicke’s absence.   To open up the series, the Cubs hit four homeruns in a 7-6 victory over the Brewers.  The four Chicago batters to go yard were Dexter Fowler, Anthony Rizzo, Jorge Soler, and Starlin Castro.  Milwaukee’s pitching staff is allowing the most homeruns

Image Source In Game 1,  the Brewers won 5-4 and Matt Garza got the win, giving up two runs in 5.4 innings.  He struck out four batters.    Adam Wainwright got the loss, allowing eight hits and five runs in 7.0 innings.  He moved to 1-1.    Carlos Gomez went 2 for 4 with an RBI.  Matt Carpenter, Matt Holiday, Jason Heyward, and Matt Adams combined for nine hits for the Cardinals.  Francisco Rodriguez got his first save of the season.  K-Rod made a great catch in

The Colorado Rockies sure showed the Milwaukee Brewers that this might not be the season for them.   On Opening Day the Rockies demolished the Brew Crew, 10-0 and Colorado third-baseman Nolan Arenado was only a triple shy of the cycle. Corey Dickerson hit a homer.  Kyle Lohse gave up ten runs, while Kyle Kendrick pitched seven scoreless innings for the Rockies.   Even though the Brewer fans showed up, the Brewer bats didn’t.  It took the Brewers five innings to get their first run
