Led by Thames, Brewers sweep Reds

Milwaukee W.I. ~ The Milwaukee Brewers have swept the Cincinnati Reds. Led by first basemen Eric Thames the Brewers racked up a whopping 28 runs in just three games while limiting the Reds to only 13. Thames hit two homeruns in the series opener and another one in the second game, raising his MLB  leading homerun count to 11. On Monday, the opener, Matt Garza was on the mound for his first start of the season because of a groin injury.

Rockies win Opening Series 3-1 in Miller Park

Milwaukee, W.I. ~ The Milwaukee Brewers got off to an okay start to start off their 2017 season. Even though the Colorado Rockies won the series 3-1, the Brewers played pretty well, showing great offensive power in the first three games and great starting pitching in the last two games. GONZAGA 77  SOUTH CAROLINA 73 Phoenix , AZ ~  The Gonzaga Zags, hardly an underdog anymore, fended off a 12-0 run by South Carolina and kept their heads off to defeat the Gamecocks, the 7 seed from the East.
