Brewers spoil St. Louis’s opener, but Cards get back, win the series

Pirates take series, but Crew earns first win

Brewers swept in Opening Series, outscored 19-6

The Colorado Rockies sure showed the Milwaukee Brewers that this might not be the season for them.   On Opening Day the Rockies demolished the Brew Crew, 10-0 and Colorado third-baseman Nolan Arenado was only a triple shy of the cycle. The undefeated Kentucky Wildcats are no longer undefeated.  Indeed, the Wisconsin Badgers beat them 71-64, handing Kentucky its first defeat of the season.  The Wildcat players were so such sore losers that they wouldn’t even shake the hands of the Badgers after the game.
